Projekt: The heritage formation of archeologyPrincipal objective of the project is to gain knowledge from a scientific viewpoint of the heritage formation of archaeology and its current concepts and uses as a basis for decision-making and cultural policies in the area of archaeological heritage as a factor in cultural, social and economic development.

The project presented aims to analyse the current situation of the heritage formation of archaeology, starting from the historical study of how it was conceived during the 20th century so as to approach current concepts and uses. The conclusions of the theoretical part of the study will be applied to various case studies. These will provide knowledge of the various relationships between archaeological heritage and society, which will produce a full picture of the heritage formation of archaeology.

The main organiser is interested in contact with a Slovenian university or cultural institutions.
