The Nantes Europe Express is a French association which aims at promoting the emergence of a European identity through many actions that take place in Nantes and the region of Pays de la Loire (Western France). It also intends to encourage the exchanges between the local population and the populations of new member States of the European Union.

They are looking for partners in the countries that became memeber of the European Union in 2004 and 2007. Partners can be public institutions, music schools, academies and cultural organizations.
They are looking for maximum 5 partners from different countries.

The project aims at creating an orchestra, composed of young European artists (from 18 to 30 years old) who will be selected by a call for participation and a jury. From June 2012, the New Band will gather in Nantes (city partner) for three weeks for creation and rehearsal before going on a tour for two months (July and August) in the country partners.
