The Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre, founded in 1851, is a professional company dedicated to offering opera and ballet productions of outstanding quality. The Tbilisi Opera presents classical and innovative repertoire and important but rarely performed works.
It enriches the community through different outreach and education programs and by keeping classical music affordable. The chorus comprises of 79 singers, the orchestra is 120 musicians, and the ballet troupe is 55 dancers.
They are currently engaged in an ongoing rebranding process and their new website will be coming soon.

Project

The objectives of the project are:

– to create a network for mutually beneficial partnerships and collaboration;
– to encourage the children and young people get involved with the arts and culture through education programmes;
– to facilitate the international visibility of emerging, young artists.

They are looking for partners including the Opera Houses, festivals, concert halls, arts education institutions, to realize joint projects, including the education programmes, co-productions, festivals, competitions, etc
