Recognised in Belgium as one of the main travelling theatre companies, LES BALADINS have been wandering French-speaking territories, from Quebec to Switzerland, from France to Africa, for more than 35 years. Since 1980, the troupe has created 28 shows, with a total of 3032 performances, and have met 674 000 audience members, visited 578 cities and travelled thousands of kilometres. The Belgian fairground theatre company LES BALADINS DU MIROIR develops a firmly popular culture, a theatre for amazement, emotion, tenderness and humour. The company has succeeded in creating a signature theatrical style by revisiting great authors such as Moliere, Shakespeare, Ghelderode, Brecht… Or more contemporary authors. Revitalized texts, a magic that is consistent show after show, through inventive and poetic staging, tangling disciplines and creating a special relationship with the public, under an unquestionably convivial marquee.

They would like to join interdisciplinary projects to develop experience and partnership in the European dimension. Les Baladins du Miroir is also managing La Stampia, which is a venue that can host artists and company for residencies and meetings, and would like to develop this as a hub for travelling theatre and performing arts in the heart of Europe.
