The festival is an example of so called Fringe Theatre. In this case the festival is based on the strong link existing with the local rural area in which these municipalities are situated. The theatre as a physical place and as an ensemble of performances and actors is brought close to the most significant places of these territories, the fields, the river basins the farmstead, etc. It is quite an innovative way to link cultural activities to the rural traditions, keeping them alive and lively.

Grupo Impresa is looking for other similar or interested organisations; associations or local authorities that are planning to submit a project proposal under the next call of the Culture Programme. They are looking for projects and ideas developed or in the framework of Fringe theatre activities, either in projects focussing on rural aspects and/or traditions.
