Projekt: Everyday life of a woman

The aim of the project Everyday life of a woman is to contribute to the European debate on cultural diversity and to analyze the various processes that have influenced the change in presentations, types of behavior and culturally defined models of everyday life of women Europe-wide from the late 19th century to this day – showing that there is a shared history and common identity. The project also seeks to analyze museum collections and exhibitions as representations of behavior and establish innovative theories and methods for approaches in tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The Ethnographic museum collects, preserves, stores, researches and presents the wide range of objects of traditional folk culture of Serbia, as well as from other parts of former Yugoslavia and the Balkans, Europe and Non-European countries, covering the period of 19th and 20th century.

They are looking for partners from Europe. They already have partners from Portugal, Hungary and Slovakia.
