Museum of Republic of Srpska is a complex museum. It was founded in 1930. Today, it is central institution for protection of movable cultural goods.
Museum is organised in five organisational units as follows:
– Center for material culture and arts
– Documentation center with library, photolabaratory, and archival materials for the history of museum
– Center for conservation and restoration
– Center for education and pedagogy and advertising
– Department of shared services
– Center for material culture has the following departments:
– Department of Archeology
– Department of History
– Department of Ethnology
– Department of Arts History and
– Natural Science
Projekt
They are interested in projects that include exhibitions, publications, cultural events, excavations, explanatory tours, scientific and professoonal conferences, symposiums, presentation exhibition, artistic installations, fine art concept, concerts, socializing, discussions, guiding school for young people, educational work, social inclusion projects.
