Organisation

Established 2003 and directed by the Spanish scholar Juan Ángel Vela del Campo, it’s the main Portuguese festival for religious music. It gathers music, cultural heritage, biodiversity and social inclusion.
Awards each year an international prize to individuals or institutions that stand out at international level in three fields: music, cultural heritage and biodiversity.

Project

Objectives of the project are:

– cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
– networks helping the cultural and creative sector to operate competitively and transnationally;
– establishing platforms to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and artistic works.
