The Project aims at creating a data base with information concerning European celebrations and/or traditions taking place within the periods of the Equinoxes and Solstices.
Because many of the dates of the Equinoxes and Solstices have been pushed forward or backwards by the Catholic Church with the purpose of integrating them in its Calendar, a certain margin of displacement will be considered for acceptance of proposals, as long as the “spirit” of the tradition has been preserved.

Once in functions on the Web, the data base may be growing with additional information coming from late inscriptions, as well as it can be corrected from eventual errors.

The project foresees some kind of seminars/ workshops in each of the areas: Equinoxes of Spring and Autumn, and Solstices of Summer and Winter.
