The „Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden“, (public Gallery of Art of Baden-Baden ) is planning to submit an application in strand 1.2.1 this October and is looking for partners from Southern Europe.

Koncept projekta

The Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden would like to initiate a European exhibition programme in partnership with a range of other cultural institutions, which takes civil society as its theme, and in which the role of art will by explored by the reflection on and forming of this civil society. In doing so the exhibition will specifically broach the issue of what role art can play in the shaping of future processes of global and European civil society. This planned project aims to establish the basic approaches of a European position within this new, contemporary global structure. Academics, politicians and engaged citizens will discuss the European civil society in the twenty-first century in continuously developing formats.
