Culture South West (CSW) is the cultural co-coordinating body for the South West of England, an area which includes Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, much of Gloucestershire, Somerset and some of Wiltshire. Within it lie the cities of Truro, Penzance, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Taunton and Exeter. As part of its commitment to the development of social culture and creative industries, CSW has, in association with Exeter University, supported a cultural leadership development program within the region.

CSW and Exeter University are seeking to extend this program in order to fulfill the need for cultural leadership across Europe. To do so they require partner organizations with expertise and experience in leadership training to work together to develop a coherent and viable training program, which can be delivered on a pan-European basis over a number of years.

It is envisaged that the partner organizations will meet in London on September 18th to develop an agreement protocol and over subsequent weeks an approved and agreed budget and development timetable.
