The aim of the International Flute Festival, to be held in Sibiu for a week, is to cultivate the interest in this instrument among the young generations and also to establish a cultural interchange between the countries involved. The festival also implies conferences and seminaries concerning the evolution of the instrument, masterclasses, open-air concerts, concerts in non-conventional places.
