UAmaze is looking for a partner in the fields of cultural heritage, visual arts, interdisciplinary projects or audience development.

UAmaze is an art initiative based in Kyiv, Ukraine. They are working on promoting Ukrainian traditional folk art in Ukraine and abroad. Their goal is to make Ukrainian traditional artworks not just a museum exhibit, but a part of day to day life of modern Ukrainians and a part of European cultural context.

What they do?
– Work with artists committed to developing traditional Ukrainian decorative art and making it modern and up to date.
–provide art classes in traditional Ukrainian painting styles for kids and adults;
– support little known authentic Ukrainian art styles, which are close to disappearing;
– develop and distribute quality and modern souvenir products decorated with traditional Ukrainian decoration;
–organize social projects in order to promote traditional Ukrainian art;
–create community for developing and promoting Ukrainian decorative art and support artists, who work in this field.

Project: Multimedia Digital Exhibition of Decorative Art

Thesy would like to create an exhibition of traditional Ukrainian decorative art in an unexpectedly new format, which redefines traditional museum experience and attracts young audience.
Visitors are fully immersed in the world of light, colour and sound to create “an unforgettable multi-sensory experience”. It is a traveling multimedia immersive exhibition, fully interactive and based on digital technologies. As the references, they use following exhibitions: ArtPlayMedia and Carrières de Lumières.
