Residencia de Estudiantes - Creative Europe Desk Slovenia

Residencia de Estudiantes from Spain is looking for partners to submit a common cooperation project in the interdisciplinary field(dance, music, cultural heritage,…), in small scale cooperation project within Culture sub-programme call for proposals with a deadline on 1st of October 2014.

The project proposes various actions regarding the historic avant-garde movements of the period between 1914 and 1939, as an essential expression of cultural renovation and as an eloquent proof of the existence of a common European culture. For that purpose, a special emphasis will be put on the journals of the time for their relevance in spreading the new ideas and their influence in the configuration of a modern-day European mindset. The ultimate goal of this project is to bring new value to the contents kept in European cultural organizations devoted to the preservation of our common memory, and to promote them as advantageous assets for the cultural and creative industries. This will be done by making them accessible to larger audiences through original readings that allow for a better understanding of present-day Europe.
