Organization

The Brass Band of Voluntary Fire Brigade in Slupca was formed in 1893. It is the oldest artistic group and the pride of the town. The Brass Band participates in different kind of mass events: stage concerts, galas, national and church ceremonies. It plays rich repertoire which can satisfy various musical tastes and makes it suitable for every occasion. It plays traditional, modern, classical and light music. It takes part in competitions, tournaments and festivals all over the country and abroad (Germany, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary). It has been successful in concerts, parade marches and parade drill. At present the Brass Band consist of 60 people including musicians and the choreographic group of Drum Majorettes.

Project

They want to be a partner in a project.
They would like to participate in a project connected with different kind of music. They took part in International Festivals many times and also we have experiences in organization of International Festivals of Brass Bands in Slupca. They can also cooperate with a singer or a composer. In 2014 we cooperated with Marcin Masecki , a composer and a graduate of  Berklee College of Music in Boston.
