The Fondazzjoni Temi Zammit (FTZ) is a Maltese not-for-profit foundation drawing key stakeholders together in a strategic partnership to boost regional development. It is a collaborative network implementing international, European and local projects of benefit to the whole community.
FTZ is looking for Maltese and European partners for a project to be submitted under the Culture Programme, Strand 1.2.1 (deadline: 1st October 2009).
The project takes Schiller’s unfinished novel ‘Die Malteser’ as its starting point: the work of the German writer, describing Malta at the time of the Knights as a model for future Europe, will be the source of inspiration for an original and intercultural opera as well as for a series of collateral activities. The project already includes partners from Italy and Bulgaria. The network welcomes any new partner wishing to bring its creative and innovative contribution to the development of the project.
