Organization
The Museum in Lebork houses a wide range of historical and ethnographic arfefacts and art work including contemporary pieces. It holds one of the most important archaeological collections in Central Europe. Due to its proximity to Leba, a top tourist destination on the Polish coast, the Museum reaches a wide audience through its promotional work e.g., at the Slowinski National Park famous for its shifting sand dunes, the 120-berth marina, as well as the hugely popular Stilo light-house.
Lebork Museum also runs an extremely popular workshop series focused on disappearing ancient and medieval crafts covering techniques such as weaving, handmade paper, stained glass, pottery, etc.
