The municipalities already work together in the field of theatre (they develop a joint and coordinated annual theatre programme, including some theatre performances by the local theatre group for disabled people) since 2005.
They are looking for three to four European partner organisations that are interested in this new experience or which already have some familiarity with this particular type of theatre and wish to expand and exchange their experiences. Some initial experience is appreciated, but need not necessarily cover the whole scope of the project. Partners may be, for example, organisations experienced in theatre that would like to work with disabled people, or associations representing disabled people that would like to try the new experience of theatre.
They intend to develop a project, which lasts 2 years, starting in summer 2008. During the project they intend to jointly develop a professional theatre show with/for disabled people and exchange experiences among partners on this type of theatre and its contribution to intercultural dialogue in Europe.
