The basic idea of this project is a two year exchange of knowledge and artistic praxes in the field of theatre for young audience and it comprises of several segments such as workshops, international showcase and a colaborative theatre production involving all the partners in the project.
The goal of the project is to create a platform of the socially engaged and active theatre for youth which is the most neglected and yet the most sensitive social group in Serbia as well as the other countries from the region of former Yugoslavia. The basic idea of this project is to develop a platform of theatre for young audience which is aware of it’s social and political surrounding and which responses to it. The aim is to make the society aware of an active theatre for youth as a part of the more complex strategy of the cultural policy as well as the work on the profiling of the specific audience for this kind of theatre through the collaboration between the artists from Serbia and Sweden, but also through the cooperation with educational and cultural institutions of these countries. In a long run, this project has a goal of improving the entire society, because the work with youth is also a possibility of creating a better social prospective.
Partners in the project are: Little Theatre Dusko Radovic from Belgrade and Pigmeteatern from Stockholm.
Duration of the project: 2 years
They are looking for partners from EU as well as the Balkan region.
