Basic idea of the project is following a predefined order the photographers travel to partner countries to pursue a Photography residency. Over the same time period each country welcomes two photographers from different countries for a total period of three weeks (divided into two distinct visits).
During these residencies, the photographers have two missions: their personal work with a view to the final exhibition, and of equal importance: the management of workshops for adolescents and adults and also encountering the public by way of a personal exhibition.
Aims of the project:
– to enable photographers and their works to circulate
– to set up Photography Artist Residencies around a common theme
– to present the work of the chosen artists
– to bring about and facilitate meetings and exchange with the public
Partners must be organisations belonging to the public or private sector (university, association, gallery etc…).
Each partner must connect two professional photographers and be capable of mobilizing human and financial resources for the good running of the project.
