17-year-old high diver Iva is grieving after the death of her mother, who was killed in a car accident. Like the rest of the family, she is having difficulty finding closure. One day a package arrives for her mother, and the family discovers that she was having an affair with another man, the conductor of the orchestra where she was an opera singer (played by Norwegian Kristoffer Joner). Iva becomes obsessed with the man and begins stalking him. In the last part of the film they end up on a river together in a dreamlike sequence. … (Source: TIFF.)
