Non-governmental, non-profit research & cultural organization that is interested in food culture, traditional foods, European cuisines, Mediterranean diet, food history, nutrition education, technology use to digitize gastronomy culture and related themes.

We are a Museum (with the status of an NGO & cultural organization) and we are seeking to join consortia which are interested in the following topics:

– 3D Reconstruction of museums’ objects available only in photographs
– Use of digital technology to support Museums
– Mediterranean diet network
– Supporting actions to promote Mediterranean diet as intangible heritage
– Europe’s electronic Good Food Guide
– Mapping of Europe’s traditional foods & related customs
– Ways to build audience
– Applications / entrepreneurship to increase museums’ profit
– Europe’s electronic database for gastronomic tourism
– Women’s partnerships in Europe to promote traditional products commerce
– Educational packages for nutrition/food education
– Museums role in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and commerce
– Open source software for museums’ collections management
– Folkloric research of traditional food customs
– Development video games for museums
– Documentary film to support recording of traditional food customs
– Chemical analysis of food remnants in cooking/food serving pots/utensils of past ages
– Development of educational programs in museums
– NGO’s supporting strategic plans
– Creating volunteerism for museums or NGO’s
