The Centro Caprense is a non-profit Cultural Foundation, that aims at promoting the activities to explain the historical significance, nature and art of Capri, also in collaboration with other Organizations. The Centro Caprense includes the Library and the Museum. The library keeps manuscripts, collection of letters, musical documents, books and pamphlets about Capri since XVII century. It hosts also newspapers and photographic archives. The Museum is composed by four rooms: Geo-Palaeonthological room, Archaeological room, Biology room, Prehistoric room. The Centro Caprense would like to participate in the “Creative Europe Programme”.

The CULTURE Sub-programme, to which they would like to participate, gives support for European cooperation project. It support the capacity of the European cultural and creative sectors to operate transnationally and internationally and to promote the transnational circulation of cultural and creative works and transnational mobility of cultural and creative players, in particular artists. The Centre would like to participate in the Sub-programme with a project that concerns “the Mediterranean islands through the artist’s eye, since XIX century to the present”.
They are looking for partners and would be pleased to participate in the CULTURE Sub-programme with potential partners.
