Project: "Literature at Eye-Level"

The Projects title is “Literature at Eye-Level” and will take place from 2015 until 2016. We want to enable and improve a european network of independent, non-profit and non-funded organizers, translators, publishers and writers to build the structure of a future European literary socialisation. Most of the vivid and exciting approaches to literature in europe come from those younger individuals and within their countries they are mostly well linked. We want to help to link them all over Europe.
We are planning a webpage, a big conference in Berlin, a Festival in Austria, and a big Bustravel-Readingtour all over europe, starting in finland and ending in Cyprus, with changing European writers in it. The Bus will stop in as much european countries as possible, trying to connect not only literary places by the readings but also all the villages, smaller towns on the road as well. This will enable a close contact to European citizens, and will show all the involved persona, that great possibilities lie in the expression of our identities through literature. We can get to know each other through the stories we tell.

I am looking for associated partners in Europe. We already have partners in Finland, Austria, Cyprus with whom we will apply for the grant. Now I am looking for smaller, associated partners to help with accomodations in the bustour, to provide possibilities of readings and to enable contact to the local “scenes” and people.
