The project ‘Let’s turn land into a trend’ aims to raise awareness by engaging European artists, specialists and children in learning about rural and other related professions of the primary sector of economy with the aid of the arts. Focusing on the profile of rural workers across Europe, Greek coordinator EAST-WEST ARTS CENTER invites European companies / organisations to collaborate in researching on this profile and creating art oriented to educating children and general public on rural and other related occupations; thus aiming at creating a ‘trend’ towards them to enhance their status and prospects.

Joint project activities will/may include:
workshops, seminars, radio shows, theatre games, creative writing related to rural occupations across Europe, a symposium, a playwriting contest for children plays and a visual arts/illustration contest portraying rural and other primary sector workers, a theatre performance, visual/multimedia arts scenery for the performance, original music composed for the theatre performance etc.
