Project: A long-forgotten art: Anatolian Stone Craftsmanship and its effects on European counterparts throughout the AgesThe aim of the project is to create awareness for the existing stone craftsmanship and art in Turkey and Europe.

Theme: Ever since the start of stone craftsmanship in Anatolia, it has influenced European stone craftsmanship and architecture for thousands of years. In today’s eastern and south-eastern Turkey, stone art craftsmanship has recently been reinventing itself by being used at new buildings and modern architecture. The aim of our project is to create awareness for the existing stone craftsmanship and art in Turkey and Europe; together with our partner EU member countries, reveal the historic transfer and influences to European stone artists and craftsman, promote the rebirth of stone craftsmanship in all participating partner countries.
