Project Med i Krv is based on interculturality as the main goal is to assemble artists from different countries. In this way, various cultural identities and backgrounds are mixed together creating a borderless community of artists. Med i Krv functions as the «platform» or «medium» through which the artists communicate, exchange ideas and organize common activities.

Until now the artists from Serbia (Valjevo Artist’s Association VULS) and Greece (Elephant Walk) have been involved in the project, but the project tends to spread throughout other countries. Therefore they are looking for similar artist’s organizations in the region of Southeastern Europe, which are interested in joining the project. In this way, the net of organizations should be created. This would allow the project to spread and the future events to take place in new countries.

Valjevo Artists’ Association “VULS” is a citizens’ association founded in Valjevo in 1996. It’s main goal is to promote visual arts and artists.
The Association has organized more than 20 exhibitions in Serbia and abroad, the most notable being “Med I Krv 1” .
